It is somehow a hard task for housewives to manage and maintain the cleanliness of the home especially if her children don't know how to help maintain cleanliness at all. It is surely a headache for moms seeing crumpled papers on the bedrooms of her children, clothes are scattered everywhere, books, and all those stuffs. At the living room, magazines, photo albums, etc. are disarranged. At the kitchen, all the dishes are not washed yet; some of the liquid foods inside the refrigerator are spilled. The front and backyard are always dirty, cleanliness is not maintained. What a headache for moms it can give!

To prevent all these burdens to occur, providing a housekeeping checklist in every home is needed. If household chores are planned and evenly distributed to every household member, housekeeping will not be a burden. Household chores will be lighter and can be finished easily. Cleaning the house will not take for several hours if everyone will be cooperating.

Discipline is what is needed here. If you discipline yourself of distinguishing of what is clean from dirty, surely cleanliness will be maintained. Cooperation is likewise needed. Cooperate well so that everything will be in a smooth flow. Cooperation of every household member is a must. If one doesn't cooperate, the housekeeping checklist will not be successful. This is just like a domino, if one falls others will also do. So, the success of the checklist depend each one of you. Another attitude that is also needed is time management. Give a time to do your task. Manage your time so that your other business will not be a reason why you can't do the chore assigned to you. Your other business is an invalid reason why you can't clean the house. What you only lack is time management.

Thus, if every member of the house has these three characteristics; discipline, cooperation, and time management, everything will be alright. You may not even need a housekeeping checklist. The checklist is just a guide so that everyone can follow accordingly. It is not actually a fix rule in every home. Remember that with or without the presence of a checklist, each of us is obligated to maintain the cleanliness of our home. Not only are our moms the one who will do all these household chores. If you really can't able to help in the household chores, at least you can help by not throwing and disorganizing things inside and outside of your home.
